Give it a Try
Hey, just give it a try, even if you’re not sure it’s for you. You’ll see in a moment what I mean. Like trying anything new for the first time, we have uncertainty. I remember the first time I tried sushi. I have always liked fresh fish like salmon, when grilled. I like rice, brown beans and chicken fajitas with salsa. But initially, I wasn’t sure about fish and white rice rolled up together like two “pigs in a blanket.”
Turns out, I really do enjoy sushi and many other people, I know, do also. So, what I am trying to say, maybe it’s time to give your local Church a shot, checking things out. If you have never developed a regular, consistent routine, in person or online worship gathering with other people, maybe you should reconsider. Or, if you’ve just gotten out of the habit during the COVID19 restrictions this might be a chance to build in some margin in your post-covid schedule for Church also.
We would love to have you be our guest this weekend at Journey Community Christian Church in Cynthiana. We are seeing new people in person and online from all kinds of different places and situations. It is exciting to see more positive things happening each week with more people finding confidence to try things again.
Go God! God is everywhere and He is with us everywhere, always. This weekend at Journey we take a look at another amazing characteristic of God in the Bible. Even though God never needs to be in a hurry because He is everywhere, at once, He once RAN to rescue a LOST person. If you want to read ahead before you get here this weekend, check out Luke chapter 15, lost coin, lost sheep, lost son.
If there is anything we can do to help you find renewed courage and confidence in our world today, just give us call or text. We can pray with you whatever your concerns. God will our prayers, He promises, He always listens. We know because of Easter our God can do anything. Go God.
I will close with a verse that seems to fit my topic today. I can hardly wait to meet you at our Journey front door or our online FB live stream. We are better together.
“Taste and see that the LORD is good.” Psalm 34:8
