Making Our World Better

“14 Since we believe that Christ died for all of us, we should also believe that we have died to the old life we used to live. 15 He died for all so that all who live - having received eternal life from him - might live no longer for themselves, to please themselves, but to spend their lives pleasing Christ who died and rose again for them. 16 So stop evaluating Christians by what the world thinks about them or by what they seem to be like on the outside. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, merely as a human being like myself. How differently I feel now! 17 When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-17 TLB

God is for everybody. Not everybody knows. We have to tell everybody. If you are a Jesus follower, you are a Christian and on an important mission. We are driven, even compelled with one desire: bringing hope to the world. Share this hope of Jesus our Savior all over the world today, wherever we live and breathe. Jesus really is for YOU snd everyone (John 3:16).

You can do this. God is helping us. We are not alone. We are better together. In this COVID19 world our mission is to bring hope regardless of vaccines and political uncertainty. As the passage above makes clear, if you are a Christian, no longer are you limited by anything human anymore. God is living in you through His Holy Spirit. You and I are new creations in Christ. A new life and new outlook of hope is alive within us. We are equipped and ready to share the hope of Jesus with others. You got this.

Join us this weekend at Journey Community Christian Church. We will explore together more of the relevant guidance and wisdom found in the Bible. Our current FALL series, FREE, is from Galatians. This is a New Testament letter written to a cluster of small, struggling churches in the early 1st c. Church. Many new Christians were feeling the pressure of having to measure up to other peoples expectations.

We have two weekend services available for your convenience. Journey Sat@6:30pm and Journey Sun@10:30am. You can hop online and join us virtually on Journey Church Cynthiana FB live stream. Also we are streaming at the same time on website. If you are ready to join us in person we are ready for you. We are staying 6 feet apart inside and masks are optional once inside.

Ready for some encouragement and hope during COVID19? Check things out this weekend at Journey Community Christian Church. We are better together.
