New Year, New Faith

Now is the moment to celebrate all our personal accomplishments of 2020, thanking God for being with us through everything. Don’t rush past this moment too quickly without understanding God makes everything, possible. Before setting new 2021 goals for ourselves remember to thank God for answering prayers in 2020.

For me, one of the best practices I began in 2020 was posting daily Bible verses on social media. Each day I found Scripture which reminded us, “FearNot!”

As the final hours of 2020 count down, here are my TOP TEN (minus one) favorite Bible verses we can continue to celebrate together in 2021.

“Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:1819 AMP

“You were told that your foolish desires will destroy you and that you must give up your old way of life with its bad habits. Let the Spirit change your way of thinking and make you into a new person. You were created to be like God, and so you must please him and be truly holy.” Ephesians 4:22-24 CEV

“ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the LORD. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.’ ” Jeremiah 29:11-13 NLT

“Christ gives me the strength to face anything.” Philippians 4:13 CEV

“Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.” Philippians 4:6-7 CEV

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights (the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens), in whom there is no variation (no rising or setting) or shadow cast by His turning (for He is perfect and never changes).” James 1:17 AMP

“So teach us to number our days, That we may cultivate and bring to You a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 AMP

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:34-35 NLT

“Sing a new song to the LORD! Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.” Psalm 96:1-2 NLT

There you have it, my TOP TEN verses (minus one) for 2021. Why not add ONE more (your own) to complete the list? HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021. With God we’ve got this….
