God has forever changed the world — past, present, and future tense. He did this through Jesus and the Cross. At first glance, God’s chosen team in the Bible for world change might not look capable or qualified. Here’s how one verse describes Jesus selection of people on His all-world impact team:

“13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13 NLT
Jesus changes everything. This is truth! Jesus says so.
“6 Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ ” John 14:6 NIV
Even those often deemed by their peers, unqualified, Jesus recruited. Truth buster: Jesus qualifies the unqualified. In the 1st century, Jesus launched a revolution of change — Jesus’ regular untrained, irregular people helped bring it about. This was astounding. The religious elite had no answer.
Jesus is still doing this today. Revival is stirring in 2026. God is up to something, locally and globally. God is using people like you and me. Small church, big church, any size church may appear ordinary, unimpressive at first glance. Then Jesus takes hold — people become bold! HOW did it happen for YOU? What do YOU say to friends who ask: “What’s happened to you? You appear bolder?”
DUDE, Just say, “When average people (LIKE ME/YOU) meet Jesus in a personal relationship, everything changes. Jesus changes everything.” Jesus, the Savor of the world, has always had this impact on people. We’re living in times (2026) when it appears God is stirring the drink once again. More people each day — younger than ever — sign up, becoming BOLDER.
HOW can Jesus' Church in every community and circumstance be BOLD? The Apostle Paul has written extensively about this in the Book of Romans. This weekend at Journey Christian Church, Cynthiana we’ll check out a short text: Rm 15:14-16. Grab a seat and bring a friend. This is the sort of stuff people can get “jiggy” about, passionate about — discover a renewed passion for Jesus and His Church every day.
Here’s 4 take-aways in a few short verses. People who are passionate and crazy in love with God and His church are WHAT? 1- inwardly good 2- well informed 3- diligent in effort 4 - missionary hearts.
2026 - BOLDER for God and people seeking Him.
