Jesus

This is it. The big day the whole world has been planning since last year. Easter 2025 celebration has arrived and everyone is INVITED to the Jesus party. Who doesn’t want to be part of something really, really BIG? If you are a regular, always there, or never-attender in worship gatherings, this is YOUR opportunity for positivity and Good News.

The story and Bible record of Jesus' death on the Cross, burial in a tomb, and Resurrection - 3 days later, Easter Sunday is the biggest and best news for humankind throughout history (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Wow God! Can you believe it?  I do!  Jesus is Risen. He is alive and has conquered death. We can also because of Him. Jesus changes everything.

JESUS IS BIG NEWS - not just in my small town. Everywhere, this week, around the world, Jesus is the Main Event. When you leave an Easter service and the music and message were great, people will not be talking about the performance but the Savior who takes away the sin of the world. Everyone is invited to receive grace, mercy, and forgiveness. No one is unredeemable. YOU and I have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb! Hallelujah! Say Amen!!!

What do I need to know before Easter?  Jesus is GOOD NEWS. Jesus wants everyone on His team. Jesus can be trusted. Everything in the Bible, it’s all true! What should I know ON Easter weekend. Jesus invites us (everyone) to believe. If you arrive and are unfamiliar with how things work at Easter, we have friendly volunteers, ready to help. Wave your hand; volunteers will help.

Easter celebration is a time and place for letting go. Let go of fear and anxiety. Discover peace which passes human understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 NLT.  Be free from worry of under performing, disappointing others. Jesus comes to set us FREE. John 8:36 NLT.         

You can renew your faith and commitment to God. You can restart your commitment to follow Jesus. You can surrender your life; be forgiven of sin, be baptized in our Easter service celebration. Jesus reminds of what is important. People Matter Most. We can reboot, everyone can. Check things out. Easter is perfect time to get something GOOD started again. Go God!

PS: I hope you don’t think I am laying this on too thick. Some events and gatherings can be hyped so high it becomes nearly impossible to meet expectations. Easter is no hype. Jesus is real and He is for us. He is alive. Jesus changes everything.
