Share Positive Thoughts

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:8 NLT

A friend of mine just left the Journey office. He drops by often to share things God is doing in his life. He has plans to mow his lawn today. The weather is a little cooler but still in the 80’s. If you are doing yard work today, drink fluids. We laughed and prayed before he left for patience on warm days. His equipment has been breaking down on him.

Praying each morning and night for just the right balance, keeping a positive attitude, come what may, is vital for good mental health. Sudden storms, costly mechanical issues, or an unexpected crisis may suddenly bump us off our intended track for the day. Staying calm and trusting God is needed.

Join us this weekend at Journey Community Christian Church for another look in the Bible at a relevant message for people everywhere. Our Fall series, Forward Thinking, getting past your past, taken from Ephesians helps guide us to more positive steps to take for remaining calm and confident.

If you like to peek ahead, the text this weekend is Ephesians 2:1-10. We are sharing helpful thoughts for boosting our confidence. We can do this. We are better together. As the KLOVE song shares, “On my worst day, I’m a child of God. On my best day, I’m a child of God. Every day is a good day, because I’m a child of God.”

This weekend we’ll share this text (Ephesians 2:1-10) which help reinforce our positive outlook for the future. The bad news is that everyone has more fatal flaws in their character, than we realize. The Good News is Jesus' love on the Cross extends more grace than we can comprehend.

Our Jesus story is still being written each day. It’s not over. The final chapter of the story of life is yet to come. Give God a chance to show you His love and Jesus' sacrifice for our weakness. This message will help us capture more positive thoughts in our uncertain, often negative world around us.

Invite a friend to join us Journey Sat@6pm/Sun@10:30am. People we know today are curious about spiritual matters. This weekend message can help everyone walk away with positive vibes. Even if in-person Church attendance has never been your favorite “jam,” just check things out.

Come and see what Jesus is all about in our modern world. Jesus is for everybody. Not everybody knows. We have yo tell everybody.

Share positive thoughts with your family and friends. Just say, “Jesus is the flavor in life that makes people smile.” Hope to see you this weekend Journey Church Cynthiana.

God is good. It’s the truth.
